Talent Acquisition Lead

KazaCare is a platform for homecare innovation powered by digital technology, our shifting healthcare needs, and a mission to close the care gap in society.

We are hiring a Talent Acquisition Lead who looks after the recruitment, quality, and engagement of the Care Providers in our network (called CarePros). You will be responsible for hundreds of caregivers (known locally as Garde Malade), healthcare assistants (HCAs), and nurses who provide in-home care for our clients.

Roles and Responsibilities:
 
  • Recruitment: You will interview new caregivers, healthcare assistants, and nurses on the phone and in person, and decide if they are suitable to join the Kazacare network. You will be expected to maintain a steady supply of candidates applications, and final candidates to meet our growing demand.

  • Onboarding: You will provide standard training to every new CarePro, and test the CarePro’s readiness to be in the home of a client according to our standards of service excellence.

  • Continuous Improvement: You will report to the management regularly with numbers showing how effective your process is. These numbers will measure your speed of successful recruitment, and quality of service as reported by clients. You will use these results to improve the way you recruit, onboard, and train the CarePros to ensure a good client experience.

  • Performance Tracking: You will work closely with the Customer Success team to gather feedback about individual CarePros, input them into an information system, understand general and specific issues, find solutions and problem solve where necessary.

  • Engagement and Loyalty: You will be responsible for the community of CarePros, their happiness, and their interest in their work. You will design an incentive structure, and plan events to build and strengthen your community with them. You will represent their desires and voice, and inform KazaCare’s strategy and activities.​
Qualifications:
  • You have a minimum bachelors or diploma
  • You have at least 5 years relevant working experience
  • You are seasoned at interviewing and have recruited a successful customer-facing frontline team
  • You have successfully set up systems, processes, and goals to organize your team’s work
  • You are fast at emails, and fluent with technology
  • You speak English, French, and Creole equally well
  • You have a driving license and a car
  • (Bonus) You have worked in hospitality or other customer-facing service sectors.

  • You are excited about growing a community to champion the values, beliefs, and dreams of our CarePro community of caregivers, healthcare assistants, and nurses. You do not need to have experience in the medical or care sectors, if you are willing to learn about it quickly.
  • ​You enjoy interviewing, have a keen sense to 'read people' effectively, and understand people’s motivations
  • You are proud of good people that you have hired, and can list their achievements
  • You understand how to deal with complex human issues with wisdom and compassion
  • You enjoy solving problems and are entrepreneurial and resourceful
  • You are highly organised, have an ability to manage a large number of tasks, work out a plan very quickly, and do not mind if your plan needs adjustment
  • You are a big picture thinker who can get into the weeds when necessary, and is able to understand overall business value and impact and prioritise accordingly
  • You are a team player, and are generous with your knowledge, skills, and time
  • You are hungry to learn and grow, and thrive in a fast-paced environment​
